A cast and crew primarily drawn from students at the University of Texas at Austin and New Mexico State University shot Barefoot Negotiations at White Sands National Monument with a single camera in 2008. The film premiered at The Blanton Museum of Art in Austin, Texas in 2009 and has screened internationally. This work was made possible by the generous support of White Sands National Monument, The University of Texas at Austin, New Mexico State University Creative Media Institute, The Yard, and Women and Their Work.
