About
Dandelion features dancer/collaborators Megumi Iwama and Bret Yamanaka in layered kinetic and textural shapings inspired by a dandelion’s life cycle from germination to dispersal. This creation was made possible by Doug Varone’s DEVICES workshop, the UNCSA Choreographic Institute, and the University of California, Irvine. It premiered at the Gibney Dance Agnes Varis Performing Arts Center in NYC on the DEVICES showcase in August 2017.
